‍StumpTown MSP is the newly branded evolution of a business that began its journey nearly three decades ago. Originally founded as Big B by Brent Kimble in the mid-1990s, the company’s roots trace back to a childhood fascination with technology  and a TRS-80 computer from Radio Shack. From those early days in the 1980s, Brent’s curiosity and drive led him to the early days of the Internet and the explosive excitement of the Dot-Com boom. In the early 1990s, armed with his first Windows PC and an Internet connection, he began exploring web development  and from that passion, Big B Creations was born. What started as a one-person operation quickly grew. As Brent hired designers, developers, and project managers, he stayed focused on the heart of the operation  managing the data center and maintaining the server infrastructure that powered everything behind the scenes. As the needs of clients evolved beyond websites and into their own networks and infrastructure, Big B Creations expanded into Big B Managed Services, offering full-spectrum IT support, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.Now, with a clear distinction between specialties, StumpTown MSP has emerged as a focused brand dedicated exclusively to Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions supporting business IT, OT, security, compliance, and more. Meanwhile, website development services continue under a separate brand: Your Website Developer.
